Coinciding with the Ten-Day FAJR celebrations and in the presence of the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Minister of Energy, the following projects—whose engineering services and supervision were entirely carried out by Moshanir Company—were officially inaugurated:
• 400 kV Matin Substation
• 400 kV double-circuit Shahid Beqaei Substation
• 230 kV double-circuit Matin–West Karun Power Plant Transmission Line
• 400 kV double-circuit incoming line to Shahid Beqaei Substation
• Substation Switchyard Project
• Installation of two bays at the 400/230 kV Shahid Daghaighi Substation in Ahvaz
All technical and engineering services for the construction of these substations and transmission lines, as well as supervision of project execution, were provided by Moshanir.
The 400 kV Matin Substation, together with the 400 kV double-circuit Shahid Beqaei line and the 230 kV double-circuit Matin–West Karun line, were implemented for the client Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) with an investment of 315 billion IRR. This included a substation with a capacity of 720 MVA and a double-circuit line of 98 km, aimed at connecting the West Karun Power Plant to the grid, enhancing stability, and improving network performance.
The switchyard project and the 400 kV double-circuit incoming line to Shahid Beqaei Substation were executed with an investment of 110 billion IRR, while the installation of two bays at the 400/230 kV Shahid Daghaighi Substation was carried out with an investment of 24 billion IRR, both commissioned by Khuzestan Regional Electricity Company.
The purpose of these projects, comprising four 400 kV feeders and two 230 kV feeders, was to connect the West Karun Power Plant to the grid, reduce the load on Ahvaz 2 Substation, and increase the stability and voltage quality of the network.
