Introduction of the Company

Mahanir Company was established with the aim of providing engineering services in the fields of water and electricity, based on a proposal by the Ministry of Energy and approval by the Parliament, on 28th of Esfand, 1348 (March 19, 1970). It officially began its operations and gradually expanded its activities in response to the increasing national needs. The company’s activities have since grown into various sectors, as outlined below:

 

  • Hydropower Dams and Power Plants, water transmission, desalination plants, and water treatment plants.
  • Gas, Steam, Combined Cycle, Solar, Wind, Geothermal, and Waste-to-Energy Power Plants.
  • Transmission Lines, Substations, High Voltage Distribution, and Electrical Distribution Systems.
  • Rail and Road Transportation, Urban Development.
  • Environmental Protection, Sustainable Development, and Civil Defense. 

 

Currently, Mahanir Company continues to innovate in all areas of infrastructure and development. It has expanded beyond national borders and is a recognized brand in regional and international markets.
