Establishment of the Specialized Equipment Committee within the Iranian National Committee on Large Dams (IRCOLD)

Following the decision made at the 81st Executive Meeting of the International Commission on Large Dams (IRCOLD) in Seattle, USA, regarding the establishment of specialized committees, the Specialized Equipment Committee within the Iranian National Committee on Large Dams (IRCOLD) was officially approved on November 26, 2013, during the sixth session of its Executive Board.
This committee, chaired by Dr. Mojtaba Gharavi, Managing Director of Moshanir Company, was established with the aim of:

•    Reviewing issues related to dam and hydropower plant equipment
•    Conducting research and scientific activities
•    Drafting relevant regulations and guidelines
•    Organizing meetings and forums for experts and professionals in the field of dam equipment
