The Jahrom Combined Cycle Power Plant is the final project of the national program for 22 steam units in combined cycle power plants, with an approximate capacity of 3 × 160 MW. In line with Article 44 of the Constitution, the project was transferred by the Privatization Organization to its new owner, Jahrom Power Generation Development Company.
In this project, Moshanir Company is responsible for engineering services, high-level supervision, and domestic construction supervision. The plant consists of six gas units currently in operation and three steam units. The first steam unit was successfully synchronized with the national grid on April 15, 2018, and the second unit was scheduled for synchronization in autumn 2018.
The Andimeshk Class F Combined Cycle Power Plant is located approximately 10 km northwest of Andimeshk and 10 km northeast of the Karkheh Dam. The plant consists of one combined cycle block with a total capacity of 451 MW under ISO conditions, including:
• One Class F gas turbine unit with a capacity of 307 MW (ISO)
• One steam turbine unit with a capacity of 144 MW
This project is part of the 5,000 MW Class F Combined Cycle Power Plant program, implemented by the public sector. The client is the Thermal Power Plants Holding Company, and Moshanir Company serves as the site supervision consultant.
The project execution period is estimated at 40 months, covering the timeline from land handover to the contractor up to supervision during the warranty period. Currently, site preparation by the contractor is nearing completion, and the contract between Moshanir and the client is in its final stages. It is anticipated that from early June of the current year, construction will officially commence with civil works, contractor mobilization, and the establishment of resident supervision teams.
