Synchronization of the first gas unit of Khorramabad Combined Cycle Power Plant

The Khorramabad Combined Cycle Power Plant is located in the southeast of Khorramabad, on the Andimeshk ring road.
This power plant is among the projects under construction with private sector investment. The Khorramabad Power Generation Company is the project developer, Moshanir Company is responsible for providing high-level engineering supervision and site supervision services, and MAPNA Group is the main EPC contractor.
The project consists of one block including two gas units, each with a capacity of 162 MW, and one steam unit with a capacity of 160 MW, totaling 484 MW of Class E type. The cooling system of this plant is of the ACC type, and the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is a dual-pressure system with supplementary firing.
The first gas unit of the plant was successfully synchronized with gas fuel on February 16, 2020, at 17:05.
