• Total length: 33 km (28 km underground tunnel).
• Number of stations: 26 (connecting northeast to southwest Tehran).
• Intersections with Lines 1, 4, 6, and 7 at 8 transfer stations.
Role of Moshanir
• Consultant to the contractor in design and implementation of the project.
Special Achievements
• 26 underground stations (out of 28 total).
• One depot and terminal complex.
• Requirement of 56 trainsets, each with a capacity of 1,500 passengers.
• Train headway: 2 minutes.
• Final passenger capacity: 45,000 passengers per hour per direction.
