Technical Specifications:

•    Objective: Assessment of health impacts of the project, which includes:
o    Construction of two wastewater treatment plants (Salehabad and Sorkheh Hesar)
o    Transmission pipelines
o    Construction of modular reservoirs for storage and regulation of effluent
•    Evaluation of impacts on the health of personnel and residents of Tehran, Rey, and Robat Karim.
•    Consideration of effluent reuse and sludge disposal methods.
•    Treatment process: MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology for wastewater, and chemical stabilization of sludge with lime.
