Technical Specifications

•    Single-circuit 500 kV transmission line
•    Guyed-type lattice towers with composite insulators
•    Line length: 198 km
•    Transmission of electrical energy from Uzbekistan (500/220 kV substation in Guzar region) to Afghanistan via the terminal substation located in Surkhandarya region
•    Extension of 500 kV substations at both the sending and receiving ends

Moshanir responsibility:

Moshanir provided engineering services across phases I, II, and III, including:
•    Route survey and collection of preliminary project data
•    Preparation of technical specifications for required equipment
•    Drafting and organization of tender documents (technical and commercial) for line and substation equipment, conducted in multiple rounds
•    Continuous coordination with project financiers to comply with bank guidelines
•    Ongoing communication with the client (Uzbekenergo) during document preparation and submission of required reports
•    Contract negotiations with contractors and manufacturers
•    Drafting and finalization of contract documents
•    Supervision of equipment testing, transportation, installation, and overall high-level project oversight
