Technical Specifications:

•     For the installation of the 230 kV cable in Tehran, an underground concrete tunnel was constructed along the city streets.
•     Tunnel dimensions: effective width of 1.5 m, effective height of 2.5 m, with a total length of 25 km.
•     Depth of the tunnel: 4.4 m below asphalt surface along the cable route.
•     Tunnel designed as precast concrete segments with dimensions of 7 × 20 m.
•     Inside the tunnel: installation of two circuits of 230 kV oil-filled cable and four circuits of 63 kV XLPE cable, along with telecommunication and control cables.
•     The 230 kV cable installed in the tunnel is copper, oil-filled, armored with seamless corrugated aluminum sheath, cross-section of 1600 mm², and rated capacity of 1250 A.

Execution of all engineering services including design, contractor selection, supervision of equipment procurement, and oversight of construction activities.

Special Achievements

Such infrastructure projects are typically implemented only in areas where overhead transmission lines are not feasible, serving to supply localized demand or reinforce the urban electrical network.
