Technical Specifications
• Steam thermal power plant consisting of two generating units, each rated at 55 MW
• Operates with three types of fuel: coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, and natural gas
Role of Moshanir Company
Moshanir provided comprehensive engineering and supervision services, including design review and adaptation, supervision of domestic equipment manufacturing, project management and control, and site supervision.
Key Achievements
• Extraction of technical specifications for unprocured equipment
• Identification of factories and contractors for equipment supply and preparation of contracts
• Supervisory services for equipment commissioning
• In engineering scope:
o Preliminary studies and detailed design of electrical network studies and load estimation
o Short-circuit calculations
o Design of lighting, telecommunications, fire detection and extinguishing systems
o Grounding and lightning protection systems
o Auxiliary steam and cooling systems
o Equipment foundations
o Preparation of tender documents for civil works, installation, and commissioning
• The project provided valuable experience for Moshanir in integrated engineering and supervisory activities at the time
